Too Tired? Too Anxious? Need More Time? We’ve got your back.
Team Project Presentation Guidelines
In this project, you will work with your assigned teammates to form a leadership team for a fictional company. Your goal
is to determine how you will work together, as a team, by evaluating each member’s leadership skills and traits. You will
be assigned as a peer coach for one (1) teammate to help them find developmental activities to improve some of their
skills. In turn, you will be coached as well. You will then synthesize all the traits of the team to determine areas of
strength and those needing development to be one effective leadership group. This assignment is worth 200 points
toward your final grade.
Part 1–Presentation
Project Steps
1. Determine the type of company that your team leads.
2. Choose a name for your team that portrays your collective identities and leadership strengths.
3. Discuss the individual leadership styles desired by each team member.
4. Develop a summary of how these styles would work together as a team.
5. Assign each team member a peer coach.
• The peer coach will research activities and resources to help the assigned team member develop
proficiency in two identified developmental areas.
• Individually, record development activities suggested by your peer coach.
6. Engage in discussion with your team and determine each member’s top two strengths and developmental areas.
• Look for ways to use the team’s strengths to coach and learn from each other.
7. Once evaluated, choose the team’s top two most important leadership development areas.
8. Determine how these areas could be developed through strategic developmental activities.
• Find a way to combine the needed areas so that the activities selected would efficiently address the
gaps for the whole team.
9. Design a plan showing how you would work together as a team to develop the leadership areas of the team.
Final Product: The final product will be a creative slide presentation that includes the following
