In Module Five, you learned about interviewing purposes, context, techniques, and strategies. In your Module Six Practice Activity, you looked at different types of interview questions and how they are written with the goal of getting specific information. In this assignment, you will draft your own interview questions for a specific purpose. This will help you complete your interview strategy for Project Three, due in Module Eight, where you will apply what you have learned in order to develop interview questions to get specific information from an interviewee.

In this assignment, you will identify the overall purpose of the interview and then draft at least three questions that will help you achieve your purpose or desired goal.
First, review the Project Three Guidelines and Rubric and Project Three Scenario PDF to identify what will be required in your interview strategy.
Next, using the provided template Word Document, describe the purpose of the interview. Draft 3–5 interview questions that use at least 3 different question types. For each question you create, identify the type of question. Then, in 25–50 words, explain how that question will help you achieve your goal.
Finally, at the bottom of the template, in 50–100 words, explain how using a variety of question types may improve your interview strategy.

Using a variety of question types may improve the interview strategy by providing the interviewer with different perspectives and angles from which to gather information. Open-ended questions allow the interviewee to share their own experiences and perspectives, while leading and probing questions can be used to elicit specific responses and gain a deeper understanding of the interviewee’s experiences and thought processes.
