African Americans and WW2: Biography Assignment
Students will create a biography using an oral history of an African American during World War 2. The biography will tell the story of an African American leader’s (veteran, nurse, and freedom leader) experience during World War 2. To give you more relevance/buy-in, you are allowed to do any individual from 1940 to 1949; from leaders on the homefront like A. Philip Randolph to Tuskegee Airmen.
